12 May v GCC (Godalming/Guildford ?) (?) - ?

The minute book notes in a committee meeting of 14th December 1936 that A E Relf and A G Penfold be invited to play in this match, well in advance of it, which suggests it may have been some form of special occasion. Relf played for Sussex from 1900 to 1921, and played 13 Tests; he would have been 63 at the time of the match. Penfold played 3 matches for Surrey, but most of his first class cricket was for Madras and Europeans (he was employed by the Bank of India)
